Personal Project || Narrative about an Artist's Academic Stress

The narrative is about my personal experiences after being dismissed from college before I shifted into my current major being Studio Art. So taking these photos feels very personal to me and quite a bit of a sensitive topic. It also puts heavy emphasis on the thought of what artists have to go through, especially when they feel like they want to have their voices heard and they can't do so, due to various factors. It felt like to me personally, that when I got dismissed, it felt like the college couldn't hear me out or understood what I was feeling internally. It also felt like they were trying to take my dreams away on wanting to be an artists, like, "Where did I go wrong?", "Why did I do that?", etc. Additionally as a studio artist, I also have a small passion in writing and I believe naturally, being an artist and a writer tells a lot from a person overall.
